Step into a world of creativity and learning designed just for your little ones. We understand the unique needs of student-parents and staff at Linn-Benton Community College, and we're here to support your child's growth every step of the way.
Periwinkle is the pinnacle of the efforts by Linn-Benton Community College to ensure that students are able to complete their degrees. Students stated that a lack of affordable, high-quality child care was a barrier to completing college. So, LBCC decided to revive Periwinkle as a support for students and staff! Periwinkle has undergone months of extensive renovations to create a center that is safe, beautiful, and functional. Periwinkle also operates as a teaching school for students in the Early Childhood Education program at LBCC, so students learning to be teachers can get their first experiences at Periwinkle!

Periwinkle enrolls children ages 2 years through 5 years. We have a toddler classroom for children ages 2-3 years, and three preschool classrooms for ages 3-5 years. We serve LBCC students, staff and the surrounding community.
Nope! We will work with your family to meet toilet training goals, and do what is best to meet your child’s individual developmental schedule.
What ages of children does Periwinkle serve?
Do children need to be toilet trained to attend?
Can children with differing abilities/ IFSPs enroll?
Absolutely! We will work with your child’s IFSP providers to ensure that their goals & supports are carried out in their classroom. We also offer partnership slots with LBL ESD to provide funded spaces for children with disabilities.
Do you take ERDC payments?
We are an ERDC (Employment Related Daycare) provider. Please ask the Director for our ERDC # to give to your DHS worker.
